Up To Something

So, you may be asking yourselves where the hell I’ve been lately.  Of course, you most likely don’t really care and tend not to waste any time or effort wondering about my whereabouts, but I’m allowed to pretend that I am vitally important to the functioning and maintenance of the internet experience if I want to.  That’s just a wonderful little side effect of being delusional.  Anyway, I didn’t really want to tell anybody about my exploits these last couple of weeks because they weren’t finished yet and I basically have nothing to show any of ya’ll, but it was time to write a post again tonight and I still couldn’t think of anything else to write about so I’ve decided to just give up and spill the beans.

            A couple of weeks ago I decided it was time to try something new and, since I had an idea that seemed worthwhile and feasible, I went ahead and began to develop the plans to start myself a web based (for now, baby focused) gift basket company.  It’s still going to be another week and a half or so until the company and website are up and running and, in the mean time, I will continue to flounder with the posts since I don’t think anyone wants to hear about what I ordered today or which software got installed.  Of course, since this is all I can think about right now, I’m posting it anyway.  That’s just one of the perks of having your own site.  Like I could just start typing gibberish here and there wouldn’t be anything anyone could do about it (aghad;gjlkgdah;ldasfsadlhg, see?).

            Meanwhile, since I don’t have time to stop in and see anyone else, I still hope everything is going well for you all and would like to express my deep desire that you all stop posting so often so I can catch up on what you’ve been up to.

bluepaintred: It has actually been pretty good. I had all but recovered until this past Wednesday night when The Husband and I both suddenly felt the need to spend some quality time with our favorite porcealain friend, but I still have high hopes.

Kim: I hope to have everything handled and underway within the next week and a half or so and I will probably be much calmer and more human even earlier than that.

Meanwhile, I should clarify that I still pop in to everyone's sites everyday because I may be busy, but I'm still nosy. =) I just don't have time to read through everything and comment, so I tend to skim instead. As far as I'm concerned, though, I feel surprisingly disconnected when I don't have time to really pay close attention and comment. I hadn't realized how much I had gotten into everybody's stories. Go fig.
